Last month The Dikman Company took part in an article for CIRE Magazine discussing the use of fliers and direct mail in the commercial real estate industry. The question was really whether or not this traditional marketing method was still utilized in today’s world of technological advancements.
Our stand was that traditional marketing will always have a place in the commercial real estate arena; however, we have to be smarter about how we use it. If you are using fliers specifically to sell or lease a property, chances are you will be disappointed. However, if you realize that this type of marketing is an opportunity to promote your image and increase your brand awareness, then you understand the importance that this type of marketing tool has in your overall marketing strategy.
