TAMPA, FL (August, 20, 2014) – The Dikman Company announced today Michael English joining their team. He joins the Dikman Company to provide strategic and land use perspective to the company’s real estate activities.
Mr. English, a leading urban planner in the Tampa Bay area since 1985, has also held his real estate license since 1982. He is also a corporate leader at BCC Engineering, Inc., a Miami-based leader in transportation engineering, in community planning and redevelopment. Mr. English, trained as an applied anthropologist and city planner, offers an extensive background in urban redevelopment, urban design, transit planning, and sustainable growth planning. His career also includes real estate development as a developer, city planning, and forensic planning.
Mr. English is a multiple Florida Redevelopment Association (FRA) and Florida Chapter, American Planning Association (FAPA) award winner, and currently a member of the FRA Board of Directors. He is a committed community leader and volunteer in community activities, including the and also serves on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Downtown Partnership, Tampa Historic Streetcar, Inc., and the FSU Marine Science Laboratory near Apalachicola.
