TAMPA, Fla. (July 25, 2017)—Erika Zipfel Matscherz of The Dikman Company represented HEPACO, LLC as they signed a 5-year lease at 5321 Hartford Street in Tampa, Florida. This 18,859 square foot space will be HEPACO’s first Tampa location, and second Florida location. The lease will begin December 1, 2017.

Erika Matscherz of The Dikman Company states, “It was very important for HEPACO to be near the port to best service their customers.  In this tight market, there simply isn’t much available in the Tampa Bay area—let alone within close proximity to the port.  I was able to locate a property near the port on Hartford Street that had good potential; however, the property needed quite a bit of work in order to make it function effectively for our client.  We worked with the new owner of this property and determined what it would take to make this property operational for HEPACO. The new owner is  renovating the property for my client to include new offices, bathrooms, as well as re-skinning the building. HEPACO is expected to move into the property in December.”

The industrial building is approximately 25,000 SF and located in East Tampa. The property closed on Friday, June 16, 2017 for 1.7 million.

Tampa, FL ( Tuesday, February 14, 2017) – Erika Zipfel Matscherz of The Dikman Company represented the landlord in a five-year lease renewal with current tenant Mastec Advanced Technologies at 2604 Tampa East Boulevard in East Tampa. Mastec moved to the property in October 2010 during the recession which enabled them to have a very aggressive lease rate.

“During negotiations to renew the lease, I worked with Mastec and showed them market reports to help educate them as to what the current market rates are in this tight market,” said Matscherz.

“After searching on their own for similar properties with outside storage and to also meet their high parking ratio, Mastec determined that The Dikman Company property offered competitive rates, while keeping them in their current location, in East Tampa,” Matscherz explained.
