Tampa, FL (March 2013) – Bob Dikman was recently a panelist on the ‘Trends in Major Land Development’ panel as part of the 2013 Bizcon Conference held in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The panels purpose was to convey information about where major development activities will be happening in the United States over the next several years. The panels knowledge about national demographics, real estate transactions and regional development gave a peek into future areas of expansion and assisted in strategically identify the next steps for investment in a business.

48 Hours at Sebring Charity Auction Benefits Ronald McDonald House of Tampa Bay (February 2013)  – Bob Dikman, SIOR, CCIM, CRB, ALC, and Chairman and CEO of The Dikman Company recently organized a live and silent auction in conjunction with the 48 Hours at Sebring presented by Champion Porsche. The auction raised over $16,000 for the Ronald McDonald Charities of Tampa Bay, and with pledges continuing to roll in, organizers expect that this years receipts will greatly exceed last year’s total.

The live auction included a wide variety of items, the more notable being a pair of Alain Prost Autographed Stand 21 Racing Gloves, a set of Hoosier tires, and JRZ dampers. “We are proud to be able to organize this event again and to provide necessary resources for such a worthy cause,” said Dikman. “It is our hope to help further the mission of the Ronald McDonald House.”

The Ronald McDonald House® of Tampa Bay provides a home-away-from-home for families of pediatric patients in area hospitals.  They also provide comfort, care and support to children and their families through the operation of core programs like the Ronald McDonald House, the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, RMHC College Scholarships, and grants to other non-profit organizations that assist children.

Postcards and Fliers…..are they still part of your marketing program? 
Last month The Dikman Company took part in an article for CIRE Magazine  discussing the use of fliers and direct mail in the commercial real estate industry. The question was really whether or not this traditional marketing method was still utilized in today’s world of technological advancements.

Our stand was that traditional marketing will always have a place in the commercial real estate arena; however, we have to be smarter about how we use it. If you are using fliers specifically to sell or lease a property, chances are you will be disappointed.
